German public broadcaster Bayerische Rundfunk (BR) switched on a new DAB+ multiplex transmitter in the Waldnaab (Upper Palatinate) region on 13 July. Use of digital devices continues to grow in Northern Ireland, with a 5% year-over-year increase reported, reaching 35% of all listening hours. In Slovenia, five new stations have been given licences to operate DAB+ services.
