Q2 RAJAR: Digital radio listening now 31.5%
The Q2 RAJARs came out this week and showed good growth for digital listening which increased to nearly a third of listening;
31.5% of listening hours are now to digital platforms, up 13% from 26.5% in Q2 2011.
The figures show growth in in-car listening to digital radio, including DAB and smartphone listening.

The commercial radio industry has launched an exciting new initiative, called First Break, to help discover the next big thing in Australian music.
Chief executive of Commercial Radio Australia, Joan Warner said the new initiative was open to unsigned artists who have not charted in the top 100 Australian national airplay chart.
