York's new radio station goes digital only a year after launch

New digital radio station invites listeners to drift off to Cornish soundscapes
Escape to Cornwall is a new station from Cornish commercial radio station operator Pirate FM, part of UKRD.
The station is Pirate's second recent station launch: last month, it launched Pirate Oldies across the Cornwall and Plymouth DAB multiplexes.

Lincolnshire local digital radio switches on
The Lincolnshire DAB Digital Radio multiplex has launched today (1st October) on Lincolnshire Day, bringing local digital radio to over 410,000 people for the first time. 48% of Lincolnshire’s radio listeners already have a DAB Digital Radio, a number expected to climb now the full range of stations - local and national - are available. DAB digital radios are available from £15 and listeners can find sets for home, office, in-car or on the move.

New transmitters to give more than 400000 Lincolnshire people access to ...
New high-tech transmitters have been switched on to give more than 400,000 people access to a host of new digital radio channels.
