Senegal enters the era of digital terrestrial radio
On Thursday, the Minister for Communication, Bacary Sarr, presided over the official launch ceremony for Digital Terrestrial Radio (DTR) in Senegal, a major technological milestone aimed at “modernising the audiovisual sector whilst safeguarding the public interest, pluralism and the quality of information”. “The introduction of DTT offers new opportunities for broadcasting and adaptation in the face of current technological changes,” he said.
