ARTP-TDS-SA: Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the transfer of the Radio Numérique Terrestre (RNT) infrastructure
On 10 September 2026, the ARTP and TDS-SA signed the memorandum of understanding on the transfer of the Radio Numérique Terrestre (RNT) infrastructure, marking the start of a new phase for radio broadcasting in Senegal. In Senegal, the RNT pilot project has been initiated and led by the ARTP since 2022. In its capacity as the national broadcasting operator, TDS-SA is now taking over and has been entrusted with the management of this infrastructure – including its commissioning, operation and maintenance – with a view to supporting the gradual roll-out of DAB+.
