RAS adopts guidelines and programme for 2026–2029

The new Board of Directors of the South Tyrol Broadcasting Corporation (RAS), chaired by Vera Malleier, has approved the guidelines and programme for the years 2026 to 2029. The focus is on modernising the radio and television networks, expanding shared transmission sites, improving mobile phone coverage in remote areas, and enhancing the security of strategic transmission infrastructure. RAS broadcasts 22 television and 39 radio channels and achieves a coverage rate of 99.6 per cent. In the coming years, the television networks are to be switched over to DVB-T2 and HEVC, and the roll-out of DAB+ digital radio is to continue.
