Slovakian regulator launches DAB+ consultation
Slovakia is moving closer to commercial digital radio broadcasting. The regulator launched a public consultation on 19 August to assist it in its decision-making. The Office for the Regulation of Electronic Communications and Postal Services, as planned, launched a public consultation on the forthcoming tender for DAB+ digital radio frequencies. This is a further step towards the introduction of regular digital radio broadcasting in Slovakia. The Office now wishes to gather the views of both the market and the public on the specific terms of the forthcoming tender.
