WorldDAB Summit 2026 invites stakeholders from all aspects of digital radio: broadcast, automotive and receiver manufacturers, as well as leaders from around the world in programming, creative content and marketing to join us to celebrate digital radio and ensure it stays firmly at the centre of broadcasting.

The Gala Dinner will take place on the evening prior to the conference at K47-Wein, offering delegates an opportunity to gather in an informal setting before the main programme begins. Attendees can meet fellow participants, reconnect with colleagues, and ease into the event in a relaxed environment, all set against panoramic views of Vienna.

Julia Nageler
Host - YouTube/ Podcast, BR3/ARD, BR/ARD

Julia Nageler is an experienced and popular YouTube and social media host. She is the female face and voice of the YouTube Show "DSDN - Das schaffst du nie!”, which has over 850,000 subscribers. Run and published by the young radio brand Bayern 3 (BR/ARD), it is a 360-degree, multi-platform entertainment format. Julia delivers engaging challenges and stories to an audience of over two million fans and listeners within the Bayern 3 ecosystem, driving engagement and conversion. Alongside her show, she works as a creator and editor for several other products and platforms. Her personality is such that she is able to traverse the realms of YouTube, radio and audio, and address Gen Z and a variety of so-called Digital Media Types (DMT).

Jacqueline Bierhorst

Jacqueline Bierhorst

Jacqueline Bierhorst has been a pioneer in commercial radio since 1987, specialised in distribution, marketing, and content. She has a strong track record in launching and leading successful commercial television and radio channels in The Netherlands and Belgium. From 2011 until 2015 she was project leader on the roll out of the DAB+ network in The Netherlands and since 2015 she is project director of Digital Radio NL, a collaboration between public and commercial broadcasters and the Ministry of Economic Affairs coordinating involvement of all stakeholders and joint marketing of Digital Radio. Bierhorst is owner of Jacky B Entertainment Solutions, President of WorldDAB, a member of the WorldDAB Steering Board and an active ambassador of digital radio throughout Europe. She is also a consultant to the Flemish Government, Department of Culture, Youth and Media for the introduction of DAB+ in Flanders, initiating collaboration throughout the Flemish stakeholders on digital radio and country manager Radioplayer Netherlands.

Corinna Drumm
Managing Director, Association of Austrian Private Broadcasters (VÖP)

Corinna Drumm has been working in the Austrian media industry for more than 20 years. She has been managing director of the Association of Austrian Private Broadcasters (VÖP) since 2010. Before that, she worked for 12 years in the management of several Austrian private radio and private television stations, including SAT.1 Austria, Antenne Salzburg and Antenne Wien. Since 2019 she has been the Vice-President of the Association of European Radios (AER), a Europe-wide trade body representing the interests of over 5000 private/commercial radio stations across the EU27, UK and Switzerland. Corinna Drumm studied business administration in Trier (Germany) and Dublin (Ireland).

An experienced people connector within the digital radio industry, Bernie has headed WorldDAB since 2011, with overall responsibility for the direction and management of WorldDAB activities. Together with her team and the global network of WorldDAB members she works to further the adoption and implementation of DAB+, the digital successor of FM radio.  With a background in leadership of international trade associations for over 25 years, her career expands over several industries including radio, ICT, water and education. She is an expert at driving business development, delivering value to stakeholders, strategically aligning teams, and developing effective marketing communications. Trained in international business, she has held postings in London, Brussels, and The Hague.

Between the Conference and Gala Dinner

Our conference and General Assembly will take place at the Meliá Vienna, with the Gala Dinner on the evening of the first day at K47 Wien. The two venues are approximately 3 km apart and can be reached in around 10–15 minutes by taxi or approximately 20 minutes using Vienna's public transport network.

Getting around Vienna

Vienna has an excellent, safe and reliable public transport network, making it easy to travel between the conference venue, social events and the city's many attractions. The network includes the underground (U-Bahn), trams, buses and suburban rail (S-Bahn), with frequent services operating throughout the day.

At a glance

  • Airport to Meliá Vienna: Approximately 20–30 minutes by taxi or around 30–40 minutes by public transport.
  • Excellent public transport: U-Bahn, trams, buses and S-Bahn provide fast and convenient travel across the city.
  • Conference to Gala Dinner (K47 Wien): Approximately 10–15 minutes by taxi or around 20 minutes by public transport.
  • Walkable city: Many of Vienna's attractions are within easy walking distance of one another.

Travelling from Vienna International Airport

The conference venue, Meliá Vienna, is conveniently located for arrivals from Vienna International Airport (VIE). There are several easy transport options:

  • By Rail: The City Airport Train (CAT), Railjet and S-Bahn services all provide fast connections from the airport to the city centre. From there, the Meliá Vienna can be reached easily by U-Bahn or a short taxi journey.
    NB - from August 24, 2026, to October 31, 2027, the City Airport Train (CAT) will operate a replacement service between Vienna Airport and the Wien Mitte/Landstraße station, taking approx. 21 minutes. For more information visit: Wien Info
  • By Taxi or services such as Uber are readily available outside the arrivals terminal and throughout the city. The journey to the hotel typically takes around 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic.

  • By Airport Bus: Vienna Airport Lines operate regular services to key locations across the city.

Public transport tickets

Single tickets, as well as 24-hour, 48-hour and 72-hour travel passes, are available and provide unlimited travel across Vienna's public transport network.

WorldDAB members can register up to two delegates free of charge.
For more than two delegates and for non-members, the following registration fees apply:
Non-members: €350
Members: First two delegates - free of charge. Additional delegates €175 per registration.

An invoice will be issued once registration is complete.
