Indonesia switches on DAB+

Radio Republik Indonesia, the public service broadcaster, has turned on DAB+ in Indonesia. This is a permanent DAB+ service, making Indonesia one of the largest DAB+ markets in the world. DAB+ broadcasts will cover an initial three cities, including the capital Jakarta.

Liverpool stations to change DAB frequency

French regulator to publish results of public consultation on DAB+

The CSA is expected to publish the study results by 13 May. In its analysis of nationwide coverage, the CSA reports that between 13 and 39 services could be authorized in each zone.

Continued deployment of DAB+

The CSA (Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel - the French regulator) has taken a step closer to the launch of the second call for applications (Lille, Lyon and Strasbourg) for digital terrestrial radio across France. This was anticipated after the regulator announced a timetable for the deployment of DAB+ in December 2015. The first call for applications took place in 2013 and covered Paris, Nice and Marseille.
