Bavaria Increases DAB+ Service With New Transmitters
With this new transmitter, 97 percent of residents in Bavaria can use the network to receive digital BR programming, adds Digital Radio Germany. The Bavarian motorways are 99 percent covered and that in Upper Bavaria-Swabia, 96.6 percent of the population can receive DAB+ outdoors and 87.7 percent can receive it indoors.

P4 and Radio Norway ceases FM next week
P4 and Radio Norway will end on FM in Eastern Norway, Akershus, Oslo, Østfold and Vestfold on December 8. "Listeners must have a digital radio to hear all the national channels in Eastern Norway, "says Ole Jørgen Torvmark, general manager of Digital Radio Norway in a press release.
