Russia's State Commission on Radio Frequencies (GKRC) is returning to the issue of the construction of digital radio standard DAB+ networks in Russia, which was postponed for several years. Under the proposal, GKRC will allocate frequencies in the range of 174-230 MHz for the construction of DAB+ networks.

A statement from RAI stated: "in the following two years we will continue to invest to make the coverage more and more digital and content is already on the air with five new channels, and new channels will be added very soon.
