The Swabian regional programme of Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) will begin on 2 July on a new DAB+ channel that is part of the organisation's long-term expansion plans. Throughout Bavaria, the DAB+ transmitter network is expanding to 50 locations, with 89.6 percent of Bavarians receiving BR content within buildings, and within cars and outdoors, the figure rises to 97.3 percent.
