From the FM band to digital radio: one in five Flemings move to DAB+

For the Flemish Minister of Media, Sven Gatz (Open VLD), the big radio stations will have to disappear from the FM band from here. The goal is to digitise the entire radio network in the north of the country. According to the first measures of the Ipsos office, one in five Flemings have gone digital. "That's more than we thought," commented Mr Gatz.

Digital Radio Week sees launch of DAB+ in Flanders

DAB+ continues its successful rollout across Europe as Belgium officially launches the technology across the Flanders region today to mark the start of Digital Radio Week.
