Permanent DAB+ on air in Darwin
Commercial radio stations in Darwin are now broadcasting permanently on DAB+ digital radio. Low-powered trial DAB+ services had been on air in Darwin since 2010, but permanent installation and higher power transmissions mean consumers can now access the full benefits of digital radio.

Media Broadcast expands DAB+ offering in Bremen, Germany
Service provider Media Broadcast has announced that with the addition of Radio 90.4 on the Bremen multiplex, the total number of DAB+ stations available to listeners in the region now stands at 33. There are now more DAB+ stations than FM in and around Bremen.

Regional workshop on digital radio to take place in Kuala Lumpur

Radio most used audio platform in Australia
According to the findings of the 2019 Infinite Dial Australia study, radio is the most popular audio platform with 83 per cent of Australians surveyed using DAB+ or AM/FM in the last week.
The study also highlighted that radio dominates in the car, with 85 per cent of those who have driven or ridden in a car in the last month listening to radio.
