CSA extends digital terrestrial radio trials
French broadcast authority CSA has extended four digital terrestrial radio trials. Tests in Nantes and Saint-Nazaire by Groupement des radios associatives de la metropole nantaise (GRAM) using the T-DMB/DAB standards have been extended until 15 July.

WorldDMB launch of Business Case Scenarios Report demonstrates digital radio is on the money!
The WorldDMB Business Case Scenarios Report was launched today at Radiodays, the biggest annual radio event in Europe. During the session ‘Going for a digital future’ Patrick Hannon, VP Corporate Development at chip manufacturer Frontier Silicon presented the case that there is now compelling evidence that digital radio enables new revenue generation opportunities and that broadcasters need to proactively exploit these to ensure that they stay competitive in the market place.

Jazz Radio - The RNT mark "a turning point in the radio world"
Jazz Radio hailed "the ambitious gesture" of the CSA for the launch of the RNT. Controlled by Space Group, the station will broadcast its thematic programs digitally in Paris, Nice and Marseille. She will next candidate for national calls for applications.

The CSA is preparing to launch terrestrial digital radio
The Higher Audiovisual Council (CSA) plans to launch in 2012 the Digital Terrestrial Broadcasting (DAB). The launch of this project promises to enhance digital quality sound to the listener and coverage for the operators, is enshrined in the 2007 law on the modernization of audiovisual broadcasting, but no date was fixed

DMB/DAB+ on Air During Radio Days Europe
Spanish network provider Abertis Telecom and Dutch infrastructure specialist Broadcast Partners have partnered with WorldDMB and International DMB Advancement Group (IDAG) to provide live mobile TV and digital radio during Radio Days Europe 2012 in Barcelona, one of the the world’s biggest radio conferences with over 800 delegates attending.

Black Forest Radio is going digital
The range of digital radio programs in Baden-Wuerttemberg grows. On Sunday the 6th May, Black Forest radio will be expanding its existing technical catchment area of 20,000 to 10 million potential listeners. A corresponding contract was at the head of the Funkauses Ortenau Mark Knoll of the International Tourism Bourse (ITB) was signed.
