Digital Radio Passes 40 Percent Share in London

In London the figure this quarter was 51.4 percent. The U.K. government has stipulated it will not implement the digital radio switchover until 50 percent of all listening is on a digital platform and DAB coverage reaches 90 percent of the population.

Q2 RAJAR: Digital radio listening now 31.5%

The Q2 RAJARs came out this week and showed good growth for digital listening which increased to nearly a third of listening; 31.5% of listening hours are now to digital platforms, up 13% from 26.5% in Q2 2011. The figures show growth in in-car listening to digital radio, including DAB and smartphone listening.
