The 'Euro-Chip' is an existing set of minimum features and functions, originally created by WorldDMB, for all new digital radio receivers. It is already in production and ensures the interoperability of all new digital radio receivers in European countries where broadcasters are using DAB, DAB+ or DMB, and/or analogue AM and FM.

One of the changes is that the Danish politicians have now set a date for the digitization of radio to be ready. At the end of 2019, FM broadcasts to an end. One condition is that at least half of radio listening must be digital

Toyota announced today that all of their Land Cruiser V8, Grand Prius Lounge version, Prius Solar Premium version cars sold in Belgium will receive traffic information through Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB).
