The third DAB+ network in German-speaking Switzerland is currently being built in stages. Work in Eastern and Northern Switzerland, as well as in the Bern-Fribourg region, has been ongoing since the beginning of 2013. It is scheduled for completion towards the end of 2014. In October, Garmin will begin feeding its navigation systems in Germany with highly accurate real-time traffic information, transmitted free of charge via DAB+. This means that owners of models such as the "3D Traffic Live" will receive bundled information from up to 160 different sources, and can map traffic problems to an accuracy of 100 metres. The new Garmin navigation systems will update this information twice as often as the older models.

Commercial Radio Australia (CRA) welcomed the decision by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) to extend the DAB digital radio trial licenses in Canberra and Darwin for an additional 12 months.
