Panjab Radio re-joins RAJAR for London DAB
Asian radio group Panjab Radio is re-joining RAJAR to measure its audience on DAB in London.
Panjab Radio is also one of five applicants for the re-advertised London-wide 963/972 AM licence, and is part of the line-up on Listen2Digital’s bid for a national DAB licence.

Successful digital radio development showing similarities to other developed markets
The launch of DAB+ in the Netherlands is not as bad as suggested in some media. Research by Radio.NL shows that sales in the Netherlands is starting to show a picture similar to that of countries such as Switzerland, Australia and the United Kingdom where digital radio is established.

"If we do not adopt DAB/DAB+ in Europe, the probability that there will be radio in 20 years is low. Our future depends on it. This requires a common European standard, since a significant portion of radio listening happens on the move and in vehicle. We need to offer hybrid radio combining DAB/DAB+ and the internet, the latter mode being complementary."
