French Government launches consultation to amend decree on Band III
The Government plans to amend the decree from 3 January 2008, which defines the technologies authorised for broadcasting of digital radio services, in order to retain only DAB+ on Band III. This project responds to facilitating availability of radio receivers as and when France's DAB+ coverage reached 20% of its metropolitan population.
