But the most important thing about DAB+ is traffic data, says media technology professor Ulrich Schmedes. "Where, for example, my car radio shows me where there is a traffic jam and that also integrates directly into my navigation." That's why DAB+ is in demand, especially for frequent travelers, says automotive mechatronics engineer Frank Kaatz.
