Analogue radio will be history in Germany
At some point, analogue radio reception will be history, as in the case of antenna television since 2003. The public radio stations have been pushing for years to make DAB+ the successor to FM. Other countries have developed quicker: Norway has largely departed from analogue radio broadcasting. Denmark or England are planning to shut down as soon as digital and Internet radios reach more than 50 percent market share.
