"In addition to all the technical advantages, DAB+ is also much cheaper. Deutschlandradio could lower technical costs by 14 million euros per year. And even if the costs for the further DAB+ expansion and higher streaming costs are counted against, a savings potential of 10 million euros per year results," says Deutschland Radio Director Stefan Raue.
