The Government approves the Royal Decree promoting DAB+ technology in digital radio
The Council of Ministers today approved the Royal Decree setting in motion the roll-out of digital terrestrial radio in Spain using DAB+ (Digital Audio Broadcasting Plus) technology. The move to DAB+ allows for a more efficient use of the spectrum and improves the encoding of the audio signal, making it more resilient to interference.
