Czech national DAB+ networks cover up to 93 per cent of the population.
Commercial nationwide DAB+ digital radio networks already cover more of the population than the criteria set for their operators by the Czech Telecommunications Office (ČTÚ) following the frequency auction. According to the ČTÚ’s findings, the Českých Radiokomunikací network already covers almost 93 per cent of the population of the Czech Republic and more than 98 per cent of the length of motorways. RTI cz achieves coverage of 85.7 per cent of the population and 89.1 per cent of the length of motorways. This was revealed by an audit of compliance with the conditions of radio frequency allocations for digital radio broadcasting.
