digris to operate on two channels in Ticino in future
There is now a great deal of clarity regarding the future of DAB+ coverage provided by network operator digris in the canton of Ticino. Following the installation of a transmitter and a tunnel repeater (A13) for Channel 8C (formerly SwissMediaCast) in the San Bernardino Pass area, it has become apparent that this channel is to be operated in parallel with Channel 8A in future. digris technician Stan Roehrich explains as follows: "Channels 8C and 8A will continue to provide coverage in southern Ticino (Sottoceneri). Channel 8C will in future be available across the whole of Ticino at all sites."
