Audio Trends 2026: Digital radio usage continues to rise

The digitalisation of radio continues to advance: according to the latest findings from Audio Trends, 66 per cent of radio listeners have listened to radio via a digital reception channel in the past four weeks. DAB+ continues to be used by more people than web radio. 25 million people listened to DAB+ within four weeks – an increase of three percentage points compared to the previous year. More than 14 million people use DAB+ daily. The average daily listening time remains stable at 156 minutes.
