Poland's UKE requests applications for national DAB+ multiplexes; opens consultation on digital radio
The Office of Electronic Communications encourages interested parties to submit applications for the allocation of frequencies for the nationwide DAB+ multiplexes MUXR1 and MUXR2, as well as local multiplexes. If only one interested party applies for a particular frequency resource, the allocation may be made without a competitive tender. At the same time, the regulator has launched market consultations on the further development of digital radio in Poland.
