RRI Marks 81 Years of Service and Digital Transformation
The Public Broadcasting Institution Radio Republik Indonesia (LPP RRI) marked its 81st anniversary with the theme “Suara Indonesia Berdaulat, Adil, dan Makmur” (The Voice of Indonesia: Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous). President Director Hendrasmo stressed that transformation is no longer optional but essential. “RRI must continue to move with the times. Transformation is not a choice but a need to ensure RRI remains relevant, trusted, and impactful," he emphasized. Coverage expanded with new FM transmitters, while digital broadcasting strengthened through DAB+ and DRM networks.
