ERT in the digital age at the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair. The spotlight is on DAB+ digital radio and more.
The significant changes that have taken place at ERT in recent years were presented today, Saturday 5 September 2026 at the company’s stand at the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair, highlighting the impressive progress of public service broadcasting in the new digital era. The roll-out of DAB+ digital radio, which already covers 78 per cent of Greece and which ERT’s radio stations have now joined, made a particular impression. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was briefed by ERT President Yannis Papadopoulos on DAB+ digital radio, and got into a vehicle so that he could see how DAB+ works in real time.
