Czech Radio North has improved its DAB+ coverage
RTI cz has carried out modifications to the major Klínovec radio transmitter in western Bohemia. The operator has adjusted the antenna alignment for the existing 9D channel and, at the same time, installed a completely new antenna system for the 9B channel. The change brings a significant improvement in digital radio reception for listeners in the Ústí nad Labem Region, as well as an adjustment to coverage in the Karlovy Vary Region. The adjustment to channel 9D for the operator RTI cz involved re-aiming the transmission antennas more precisely towards the Karlovy Vary Region. For the Ústí nad Labem Region, the operator has chosen channel 9B, which utilises a newly installed antenna system.
