Coverage area of Estonia's DAB+ R1 network expanded significantly
The coverage area of the DAB+ R1 network has expanded significantly when new transmitters began operating in Pehka in Lääne-Viru County, Kohtla-Nõmme in Ida-Viru County, Uuemõisa in Lääne County, and Orissaare in Saare County. As a result, DAB+ coverage now extends to 80% of Estonia's population. Over the coming weeks, further network adjustments will be made to maximise resource utilisation under current conditions. Levira will also carry out signal measurements in the near future to map the current actual coverage area of DAB+, which will serve as a basis for planning future activities.
