Serbian regulator issues public call for DAB+ network operators
On 15 May, the Serbian Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services published "a public call for applications for electronic communication network operators for the distribution of media content by terrestrial means to those interested in using radio frequencies from the radio frequency range 209-230 MHz for the distribution of a digital terrestrial sound signal." The document says "it is possible to form three (3) national multiplexes in which a digital terrestrial sound signal is broadcast in the radio frequency range 209-230 MHz. The distribution zone of the City of Belgrade (BGD) is also available for the formation of a regional network for the capital city. Also, it is possible to form regional multiplexes, within certain distribution zones and certain networks."
