RFI expands DAB+ presence in Paris and surrounds

Radio France Internationale France’s state-owned international public broadcaster, has expanded its reach in Paris and Île-de-France, the region surrounding the capital, with its launch on DAB+. The station, which has long been available on 89 FM, can now be accessed by listeners with DAB+ receivers across the French capital and its suburbs. France’s media regulator, Arcom, granted France Médias Monde — RFI’s parent organization — permission to broadcast the station via the Paris Intermediate 6A multiplex, operated by TDF through its transmission sites in Romainville and Meudon. The addition of DAB+ provides broader coverage and improved audio quality for listeners.
