DAB+ launches in Central Aran region of Azerbaijan
On 12 March, the SYES brand 1000 W DAB+ standard radio transmitter, which has been broadcasting digital radio since 2019 at the Baku Teletower Complex, has been replaced with a more powerful and modern 3000 W DAB+ transmitter. Within the framework of the Action Plan, the digital radio broadcasting network has been expanded by installing a 3000 W DAB+ standard radio transmitter with an antenna-feeder system at the Gulustan Radio and Television Broadcasting Station located in the Agsu region. Thus, uninterrupted reception of 12 radio programs has been ensured in the Central Aran region, Agsu, Shamakhi and Ismayilli regions, as well as in surrounding areas. It is planned to cover 99.6 percent of the country's territory with digital radio broadcasting.
