Germany: annual sales of DAB+ radios exceed 2 million for first time
More and more buyers are opting for a new DAB+ digital radio. In its "Home Electronics Market Index" HEMIX, which is traditionally published in March, the GFU reports sales of 2.1 million receivers for the past year. In March 2021, the HEMIX reported 1.8 million DAB+ radios sold. Against the background of a 16 percent decline in the market for FM devices in 2021, the development in the digital radio segment is all the more remarkable.
