Radio industry celebrates World Radio Day
February 13 marks World Radio Day, and the day the United Nations Radio was created and launched. Radio makes an important contribution to democracy, while free radio reception ensures that large parts of the world population have access to information. Just under three quarters of a century later, radio continues to develop and reinvent itself, with DAB+ ensuring it is as strong as ever.
