DAB digital radio sales hit 71 million worldwide

The latest market report from WorldDAB has revealed that DAB digital radio sales have cracked the 71 million mark. The figures, taken at the end of Q2 of 2018, saw an increase from 58 million at the same point of 2017. The report drew on the latest statistics on DAB receiver sales, road and population coverage, household penetration and the number of national stations on DAB/DAB+ compared to FM.
