ERT radio presentation: Greek radio enters the new digital era

ERT presented all of its nationwide radio stations on 19 November 2025. ERT President Yannis Papadopoulos announced that ERT's radio stations are ready to move into a new era through the development of the DAB+ network, "which proves that ERT is a pioneer." The first major phase of the network will be completed in the first half of 2026, covering major cities and road axes with the installation and activation of 31 DAB+ radio transmitters throughout the country. In Attica, the network will be covered by next February. "The transition to DAB brings with it a new level of quality," explained Mr. Papadopoulos, adding: "It brings the clarity of sound and signal that radio has always deserved."
