Extending DAB+ coverage into tunnels: technical solutions and real-world case studies
a webinar from the WorldDAB Spectrum and Network Implementation Committee
Thursday 3 December, 10:00 to 12:00 CET
This webinar explores the technologies and solutions used to extend reliable DAB+ coverage into tunnels and other underground environments.
Through technical presentations and real-world case studies, industry experts examine cost-effective approaches to tunnel coverage, the role of emergency break-in systems in enhancing public safety, and the use of DAB+ repeater technology to provide uninterrupted reception in underground car parks.
The programme also explores wider challenges to DAB network resilience, including the impact of wind farm developments on broadcast coverage, drawing on experiences from Norway.
The webinar concludes with a Q&A session.
