SADC Digital Sound Broadcasting Workshop, Maseru, Lesotho

In collaboration with WorldDAB, the two-day workshop will address a wide range of topics covering digital broadcasting. Key areas of discussion will include:

• First hand experiences of the various phases of policy/strategy/regulation, licensing, on-going trials (Global and Regional), network planning, network build out and considerations,challenges, marketing and production of digital radio content

• Transition roadmaps from analogue to digital radio;

• Demonstration of DAB reception

• Chipsets, receivers and integration of digital radio in connected vehicles, smart devices and hybrid radios (combining the power of broadcast and use of Internet

• Next Generation Systems
