Following an initial DAB+ trial in 2013, the second trial went on air in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh in October 2019, and has now ended. The Hanoi site was full time operation, Ho Chi Minh was part time. The objectives of the trial were to evaluate coverage parameters and test signal and sound quality.
