"Let's get Digital!" campaign

The campaign for DAB+ in The Netherlands (Digital Radio+): "Let's get Digital," officially launched May 19th in the Netherlands. The campaign can be heard on all national radio stations, online and is supported on TV. Promotions

NPO Radio 6 in the Netherlands is running a promotion to  give away free digital radios. Listeners need to take a selfie from the place they want to put their digital radio. Radio 6 Soul & Jazz is a digital-only station from the Netherlands public broadcaster NPO.

Retail Session

On Thursday 26 March 2014 over 150 representatives from the Dutch retail and automotive sector gathered in Beeld & Geluid in Hilversum (the Netherlands). The Dutch platform Digital Radio+ organised its first retail session to inform the Dutch retail and automotive sector about the progress that has made since the start of digital radio in September 2013. There were presentations from Erik de Zwart (dj Radio Veronica), Machiel Frijters (Head of Marketing Sony Benelux), Barbara Schouten (GfK), Jacqueline Bierhorst (Digital Radio+) and Michiel Veenstra (dj 3FM).

Jacqueline Bierhorst told the audience that the first joint marketing campaign (Let's get Digital) from the public and commercial broadcasters will start on 15 May 2014. The campaign is supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
