A pilot T-DMB ensemble is on-air in Ulan Bator.
In 2009 UBDMB LLC established to develop a T-DMB paid service in Mongolia. UBDMB was awarded a license to broadcast in the 182-190 Mhz frequency and also is the sole T-DMB operator (Special License). UBDMB is working with the Korean Radio Promotion Association (RAPA) to bring a T-DMB system to Mongolia. Since 2009 UBDMB has managed to install T-DMB equipment and systems. Initially, the Mongolian people were able to watch DMB TV on their devices for free. On 4 November 2014, the T-DMB services became paid-for only services.
