Greece has regular DAB+ services on air in and around the capital city of Athens, as well as part of Thessaloniki in northern Greece, and part of Patras.

There is one regular national multiplex on air operated by the state-owned broadcaster ERT.

On 10 March 2025, at industry event Radiodays Europe in Athens, Greek public broadcaster ERT announced the nationwide rollout of DAB+ by the end of this year. The organisation’s President, Yannis Papadopoulos, said: “Another strategic goal approved by our board of directors is the nationwide expansion of the DAB+ system. Currently DAB+ operates only in Athens, Thessaloniki and Patras. But by the end of 2025, ERT plans to extend it across the country. This transmission will allow citizens to enjoy even better sound quality and of course a greater variety of stations everywhere.” ERT has recently published a tender for the supply of 19 DAB+ radio transmitters.

A commercial trial local DAB+ multiplex is also on air in Athens, with nine stations broadcasting on DAB+.
