45 Percent of UK New Cars Come with DAB as Standard Equipment

New car sales throughout the U.K. in March were the highest in 10 years, and information released by CAP and the SMMT show that in the first quarter of this year that 45.2 percent of new vehicles came with DAB radios as standard equipment.

Norway is well ahead in the world

On Monday 7 April a delegation from Thailand’s radio and government visited NRK. They visited in order to see how things are done in the first country to officially announce that it will switch off FM. FM switch off could happen as early as 2017 as long as certain coverage and listening requirements are met. Thailand is also on the road to digitizing its radio industry and started on the process about a year ago.
