Radiodays Asia is a collaboration between Radiodays Europe, the world's largest and leading conference for radio, audio and podcast, and broadcasting partners in Asia and Australia. It will be a 2-day, 2-track event full of new ideas and progressive business trends, with additional specialised meetings on the third day. 

Why Radiodays Asia?

Radiodays Asia is now the professional, international meeting point for the radio, audio and podcast industry in the Asia-Pacific. Its purpose is sharing and learning about international media trends, new technology, content development and business opportunities.

Growing challenges are facing all media, from changing media consumption and the fast transformation of the media business. At the same time there is a worldwide rise in investment and usage of audio on new platforms, opening up a new golden age of audio. Radiodays Asia is the opportunity to be connected to the future of radio and podcast and make sure your media and business can act accordingly.

How it started

The first Radiodays Asia was held in Kuala Lumpur in 2019. It had 300 delegates from 150 different organsations and broadcasters in 30 countries, a wide range of exhibitors and sponsors and extensive support from partnering organisations in the Asia-Pacific. The feedback was tremendeously positive, with participants rating the event 4.25 on a 1-5 scale.

Due to the pandemic, the second Radiodays Asia was a Virtual event held over 3 days in March 2020.

It reached 400 participants from 40 countries (up from 300/30) and added new supporting partners and commercial sponsors. The programme was about radio strategy, development and business but with a lot of podcast content as well, establishing RDAsia as an important podcast event in the region. It got once again a very high appreciation score, reaching 4.25 on a 1-5 scale.

Radiodays Asia 2022

The 3rd Radiodays Asia will again run over 2 days in two parallel tracks to be able to offer a wide range of topics and specialised sessions with top-level international business leaders and professionals sharing their expertise. There will also be meet-ups where attendees can connect and discuss their most important issues. An exhibition area will offer opportunities for commercial partners to expose their brands and services and connect directly with attendees during the whole event.

In addition, there will be specialized training sessions and workshops offered on the third day, after the main event.

Radiodays Asia 2022 will be hybrid; a live in-person event, but also offered online for those who might not be able to travel to attend in person. The main conference venue will be a centrally located hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Venue name and address to be confirmed.
