2018: More than 71 million DAB + radios sold in ten core markets

Digital radio DAB+ is becoming increasingly successful worldwide. WorldDAB's latest annual report shows that by the end of the second quarter of 2018, more than 71 million DAB+ receivers had been sold in Europe and Asia-Pacific. A year ago there were still 58 million. The statistics include both home and car radios. The report covers the DAB+ core markets Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. WorldDAB sees significant activity in 21 emerging markets.
