NRK switches off FM in Southern and Western Norway

On June 21 NRK switched off FM in Aust-Agder, Vest-Agder, Rogaland, Hordaland and Sogn og Fjordane. So far, the experience the process has gone according to plan, but that there is still a need for information and guidance to the public, especially related to coverage and reception in the car.

More DAB+ deployments planned in Austria

In Austria, it has been announced that two companies have reported their interest in the development of DAB+ networks across the country by the deadline set down by the Austrian media authority. ORS has applied to develop a national network that will provide 11 different programs, and RTG Radio technikum GmbH will develop a regional network centered in Vienna.
