Lincs FM creates 1940s radio station on DAB

DAB + in Bavaria: two new transmitters grows network to 52 locations

On 10 August 2018, Bayerische Rundfunk will put two more DAB + transmitters into operation in Mainburg for the Bavarian broadcaster network and the Lower Bavaria regional network. 52 locations in Bavaria now broadcast in DAB+, with 90.2% of people receiving the digital BR program package at home, while mobile DAB+ is at 97.5%.

France's DAB+ allocation tender plans announced

The French media watchdog CSA launched its national DAB+ allocation tender process last week, with the intention that within eight years, 90% of the motorways and 75% of the metropolitan regions will be covered. Candidates have until 7 November to submit their applications.
